I took this character from my sketchbook and created a vector image of it for my first range of designs. I've been particularly interested in the idea of creating imagery without outlines or strokes. I think a really appealing aesthetic can be achieved this way and I'm pleased with how this character has turned out. My personal favorite of the four is the largest one on the far right. I've found that the dimensions of a skateboard are somewhat awkward due to its length and narrowness, but making an image this large and cropping it in this way achieves great results. Just placing the character in the center feels awkward and linear.
