This is my first attempt at incorporating a detailed pen drawing into a design suitable for a skateboard. I have found that bolder, block colour imagery works best for this format so with this design I tried to combine the two approaches. Personally, I find the larger, cropped examples on the right to be more successful that those on the left. They seem more dynamic and not just "plonked" in the middle.
